In the scope of the BADGES project, partners were able to attend a meeting in the Kreishaus Kassel joined by museum curators from regional museums in the Kassel region. During the meeting, the partners had a chance to present the BADGES approach to the attendees and also showcase the two apps already created (Challenge Abroad – Malta and 200 Years Bremen Town Musicians) using the app template. Yesterday, 29th of November, BUPNET and its partner blinc invited to a workshop about LISTEN. 21 participants came to learn more about Storytelling in the work with refugees and migrants. They were curious about the LISTEN approach and how they can integrate it in their own work.

It’s time for an update.
EYE stands for “Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs”, a European funded exchange programme for entrepreneurs.
In order to support entrepreneurial diversity and synergy in Europe the European Commission funds exchanges between entrepreneurs.
New entrepreneurs (NE) have the opportunity to work over a period of 1 month up to 6 months with an experienced host entrepreneur (HE) in another European country. Both parts benefit of the exchange discussing their business ideas, sharing best practice examples and contacts. In a nutshell: They get a fantastic chance to learn from each other.
The GREEEN Network organised a storytelling award that addressed 14-19 year-old students in Europe to tell their story on climate change. The story involved a time travel – we wanted the storytellers to imagine that they live in 2115 and tell people how the battle against climate change was finally won. How did people change their behaviour into a climate friendly and sustainable one? What invention made fossil fuels obsolete? How did we decrease the consumption of resources to a sustainable level?

THe GREEEN project has come to an end – the network activities of the GREEEN Network carry on. Also we are glad to continue our successful collaboration with six partners of the GREEEN Network in the follow-up project EELLSS – European Experiential Learning Lab on Soil Science that aims to interlink natural sciences with “soils” as a practical, concrete and “living” lab and innovative learning field. The GREEEN Network has set up a calendar of networking activities that will start in February 2015. We will have a series of online meetings, discussion forums and training days on #greeneducation and #climate change related topics.
The GREEEN network members collaborate on the GREEENHOUSE- a collaborative platform aimed to network, share and exchange ideas and good practice on climate change education and sustainable development in schools.
