In early May the VALLEY (Validation System in Lifelong Learning Experiences of Youth Volunteering) partners came together in Göttingen to set up the plan for putting the goals of VALLEY into practice. The first steps focus on assessing the field of volunteering opportunities for youths and the practices in terms of validation of competences that young people acquire during their volunteering experiences. For this purpose an online survey will be launched in the middle of June that addresses young volunteers as well as volunteering organisations to ask for their experiences and needs. The survey is backed by an extensive internet research to deepen the findings. Based on these research results the VALLEY team will customise the offers that are to be developed in the coming two years.
Today is the second day of the 3rd international meeting from GREEEN network in Ankara. The focus is on the development of the GREEEN guide for climate change education, the GREEEN award and the implementation of a training day. More information soon!

The representatives of the partner organisations from Belgium, Bulgaria, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Portugal, Spain and the UK meet today and tomorrow in Matera for their second partner meeting.
In the focus of the meeting are the further development of the training to promote a welcoming culture in European enterprises and the preparatory training for young people that would want to make an internship abroad.
The kick-off meeting of PROMOTE took place in February 2015, hosted at Alden Biesen Castle and Cultural Centre, in Belgium. The meeting was organised in synergy with another Erasmus+ project, IMPACT, and the training course organised by the project PROVIDE.
PROMOTE is a new Erasmus+ project which started in November 2014. It aims at creating and introducing an open learning environment and validation system for the development of key competences of students in mobility/traineeships and continuous professional development of employees. Continue reading
The GEP VET project partnership met on the 30th of October in Göttingen, Germany for its third transnational meeting. The main aims were to wrap up and give feedback after the two-day Train-the-Trainers session, just held in Akademie Waldschlösschen in the suburbs of Göttingen, as well as to assign next steps and responsibilities, in regard with the national piloting of the main project product – the online tool-box of training materials on entrepreneurship.

The PROVIDE partners met for a two-day meeting in rainy Bordeaux, France. The main aim was to discuss and fix the next steps. These are: the online survey to gather information on the needs in terms of competences of educational professionals in the VET sector, the interviews that shall substantiate the findings from the survey and the validation system. The online survey will be launched in early June. We will inform you also here on where to access it and subsequently on its results.
