Three things against fake news

We reported on the training course carried out in February 2020 in Göttingen by the partners of the No Alternative Facts project. Unfortunately, participation in the course was limited to the partner organisations. But we are happy to say that all elements developed by the partnership will be made available to all interested parties through the No Alternative Facts Platform. On the platform you can find three things aimed to promote critical digital literacy:

No Alternative Fact – Quizzes

In most competence development processes action-oriented and productive methods are most effective on developing critical thinking. In our project the learners – young adults – will be encouraged to describe their own experience with ‘Fake News’ in the internet in small videos and other multimedia formats and place it on the gamified platform. After analysing their experiences, the young people themselves develop learning quizzes to test peers about their knowledge of fake news and how they can be detected. Continue reading

No Alternative Facts- Partner meeting in Vienna

The project partners met on 21./22.05.2019 in Vienna for their second partner meeting. The meeting was primarily dedicated to the development of the training course and the necessary resources incl. the gamified platform where all elements of the training would be provided.  It was revealing to see how the platform would look like and what it would offer.
