VITA – Transnational Meeting in Thessaloniki

VITA groupIn the 2,5-day meeting the VITA group decided on crucial milestones for the remaining project period.

The most important ones are as follows:

VITA Award: End of May the VITA award will be launched. It will invite European stakeholders to present their innovative projects and ideas related to validation of informal learning. The award winners will be invited to the final conference in Dublin, which will take place on October 9th, 2013. The VITA project will fund all travel and subsistence costs for two days in Dublin. The prize will include the social and cultural programme.

VITA survey: The VITA team is interested in consolidating findings from the first needs analysis phase that consisted of comprehensive desk reserach and the first VITA survey. The second survey will address above all employers in Europe to investigate the demand for evaluating and evidencing personal and social competence development in different business sectors, The survey will be launched in early June 2013.

VITA final conference and training day: The final conference is scheduled for October 9th, 2013 in Dublin. It will invite local, regional and European guests who are interested in discussing the topic of validation of social and personal competences in the service economy. The conference will highlight project outcomes and results and will offer the opportunity for practicing the VITA approach for evidencing comptences acquired in non-formal and informal learning settings. In addition, the VITA team offers 0,5 training day on the VITA approach on October 10th.
