Your Skills, Your Voice! Introducing LiLI

Every woman should have the opportunity to participate actively in society, make informed decisions and shape her own future. Yet for many migrant women, everyday situations such as talking to a doctor, applying for a job, understanding official documents or navigating public services can be challenging, even after attending language courses.

This is where the new Erasmus+ project LiLI – Life and Language Skills + Intersectionality for Migrant Women Integration comes in.

Over the next two years, partners from Italy, Germany, Greece and the Netherlands will work together to develop innovative learning opportunities that support migrant women in building not only language competences, but also the confidence and life skills needed to participate fully in society.

The project is coordinated by Programma integra (Italy) and brings together five organisations with expertise in adult education, inclusion, digital learning and migrant support.

LiLI is built around a simple but powerful idea:

Language learning alone is often not enough.

To navigate everyday life independently, people also need skills such as problem solving, decision making, communication and self-confidence. These competences help individuals use their knowledge in real-life situations and act with greater autonomy.

To support this process, LiLI will develop:

  • A Language & Life Skills Learning Catalogue combining language learning with practical life skills through short microlearning modules;
  • An Intersectionality Info-Training Toolkit for educators, trainers, social workers and policymakers;
  • A multilingual and accessible E-learning Platform that will make all project resources freely available.

At BUPNET, we are particularly excited about the project’s focus on empowerment and participation. Through research, collaboration and innovative learning approaches, LiLI seeks to help migrant women strengthen their autonomy, find their voice and participate more actively in their communities.

Over the coming months, we will share project updates, insights from our research, and reflections on topics such as life skills, intersectionality and inclusive learning.

Because integration is about more than learning a language.

It is about building confidence, making informed decisions and having the opportunity to shape your own future.

Your Skills. Your Voice.
