Following the partner meeting, project partners, stakeholders and invited guests came together at the final conference in Vienna to present and discuss the project’s results.
Throughout the conference, one message became particularly clear:
Making European legislation easier to understand is not only about simplifying language—it is about enabling participation.
The project demonstrated how citizens’ perspectives can shape educational resources. Survey responses, citizen dialogues and discussions formed the basis for practical recommendations on how EU communication can become clearer, more transparent and more accessible.
The conference also provided an opportunity to showcase the new Knowledge Bits, videos and the Digital Lexicon while discussing how these resources can support lifelong learning and active citizenship beyond the lifetime of the project.
