LiLI Partners Meet in Amsterdam – From Research to Practice

In October, the LiLI partnership came together in Amsterdam to review progress and plan the next steps in developing practical learning resources for migrant women and the professionals supporting them.

A central part of the meeting was dedicated to the findings from focus groups conducted with migrant women and professionals across the partner countries. These insights provide an important foundation for ensuring that the project’s learning materials respond to real-life needs and challenges.

The partners also discussed the further development of the Intersectionality Toolkit for professionals, which will offer practical resources and approaches for more inclusive support and education. As a next step, online sessions will be organised with professionals to introduce the toolkit, explore its potential applications and gather feedback on its usefulness in everyday practice.

Another focus was the Language & Life Skills learning offer for migrant women. The learning modules are currently undergoing expert review to assess their relevance, linguistic suitability and educational quality before the next development and implementation steps.

Beyond the working sessions, the meeting offered wonderful opportunities to strengthen our partnership. Our hosts treated us to a delicious homemade lunch in their garden, and we enjoyed exploring Amsterdam together on a boat trip, followed by a cosy cheese fondue.

A big thank you to our wonderful hosts for their warm hospitality and to all partners for the productive discussions and inspiring exchange!

We look forward to turning the ideas and insights from Amsterdam into the next steps of LiLI.
