How can we bring media literacy into policy?

Several partners have successfully launched webinars reaching teachers, experts, civil society and local authorities. These online events are designed to bridge the gap between educational practice and policy, ensuring that the findings and tools developed in MILES are shared, discussed, reflected upon and acted upon.

The webinars vary in format and language to reach international and local audiences. They focus on raising awareness and encouraging dialogue by presenting the MILES approach and showcasing key results, such as the training modules and pilot findings, and inviting feedback from individuals who influence or shape educational policy.

The webinars have received significant engagement and interest, indicating a growing recognition of the necessity to provide educators and learners with the critical thinking skills required to navigate today’s complex information landscape.
