Final Partner Meeting and Conference Mark Completion of the GBS Project

On 28 and 29 October 2025, the GBS consortium gathered in Kaunas for the closing activities of the project. The final Transnational Partner Meeting was hosted at the offices of the lead partner EINC and focused on reviewing the project results, coordinating final reporting tasks and preparing the concluding conference. The discussions were constructive and reflected the strong cooperation across the partnership. The day ended with a joint dinner in the city, offering an opportunity for partners to reflect on two years of collaborative work.

The final conference took place at the Best Western Santakos Hotel and brought together older adults, educators, regional stakeholders and members of the local community. The event was opened by Margarita Tereseviciene, President of the Lithuanian Association of Distance and e-Learning, who highlighted the relevance of adult education for supporting sustainable business ideas. Daiva Damuleviciene from EINC provided the introduction to the GBS project and guided participants through the programme.

The event featured presentations of key project results, including the eRepository and eToolkit, alongside insights into local entrepreneurial support structures. Daiva Vysniauskiene from the Kaunas Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Crafts presented the chamber’s role in supporting small enterprises and aspiring entrepreneurs, offering a meaningful regional perspective. Participants also took part in an interactive activity showcasing elements of the GBS learning approach.

The conference concluded with informal discussions and networking, followed by a shared dinner with partners, EINC colleagues and several participants. The event marked a successful conclusion to the GBS project and provided valuable opportunities for further exchange.
