BUPNET EU

SEEP Final Meeting with eight nations

The partners of the COMENIUS network project SEEP – Science Education European Portal met from 10. to 12. September for the final event in Rome. The coordinator of the project, the Rome-based Università degli Studi Guglielmo Marconi, hosted project partners from Greece, Cyprus, Italy, Romania, Malta, Spain, Germany and Turkey.

The aim of SEEP is  on the one hand, the improvement of the image of nature science in schools and, on the other hand, the adaption of the teaching methods to our days technology (e.g. M-Learning via smartphones). It also seeks to demonstrate attractive career alternatives for nature scientists.

One of the three work packages led by BUPNET was the internal evaluation. The results show that the overall feedback from the project partners is very positive. This was also stressed during the talks in the final meeting, where partners looked very positively towards the future perspectives of the project. Especially the involved schools can benefit from the European cooperation.
