How can EU legislation be explained in a way that is clear, engaging, and relevant to everyday life?
This question guided the next phase of the Understanding EU project. Building on the insights gathered through surveys and citizen dialogues, partners will now develop a set of Knowledge Bits – short, easy-to-understand learning units on key EU topics.
The topics and structure of the Knowledge Bits are directly based on what citizens told us they need:
- clearer explanations
- practical examples
- simple language
- and accessible formats
By translating citizens’ suggestions into concrete content, the project takes an important step towards making EU legislation more understandable and meaningful for all.
