At the end of October, the GATE partners gathered in Bordeaux for our first in-person meeting — an important milestone in shaping our shared direction.
The meeting focused on deepening our understanding of the GreenComp framework and aligning our perspectives on translating sustainability competencies into accessible learning tools. Discussions explored how educators can best engage with concepts such as values, complexity, futures thinking and action.
Beyond the working sessions, the meeting strengthened collaboration and trust within the partnership. Having a shared vision is vital for creating materials that are consistent, inclusive and practical in various educational settings.
We left Bordeaux feeling energised and united, and ready to move into the next phase of co-creation.
