Mentoring is not only about supporting participants—it is also about supporting one another.
At BUPNET, our mentors meet regularly for reflection sessions and peer exchange. These meetings provide valuable opportunities to discuss experiences, share challenges, exchange practical ideas, and continue developing as mentors.
Our latest meeting was particularly emotional, as it marked the farewell of one of our long-standing mentors before she embarks on an exciting new chapter in Costa Rica.
While we will certainly miss her positive energy, commitment, and experience, we are grateful for everything she has contributed to the UNITE mentoring team and wish her every success in her new adventure.
Her farewell reminded us that mentoring creates lasting relationships—not only between mentors and participants, but also within the mentoring team itself.
Because at UNITE, we believe that learning is a shared journey.
