After the initial launch of the UNITE programme in Göttingen, our activities are now fully underway. Together with our team of mentors and coaches, participants have started their journey towards greater confidence, language development, and new career perspectives.
The programme combines several complementary formats that support participants in different areas of their lives:
- Individual mentoring and coaching sessions help participants reflect on their skills, define personal goals, and explore career opportunities.
- Our weekly language café provides a relaxed space to practise German and exchange experiences with others.
- Through informal learning activities, participants get to know their new environment and local culture.
- The weekly UNITE One-Stop-Shop offers practical support with everyday questions — from understanding administrative procedures to translating documents and accessing local services.
This holistic approach is inspired by the BIP methodology, which recognises that successful labour market integration depends on many interconnected factors — including language, confidence, social networks, and knowledge of local systems.
It is inspiring to see how much motivation and openness the participants bring to the programme. Step by step, they are building the skills and confidence needed to move forward in their professional and personal journeys.
